Lynne Larmour, USWA

Lynne is a self trained artist and keen portrait painter from Northern Ireland.  After honing her skills in pastel, she discovered oil painting and never looked back. As a member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists (USWA) she exhibits annually in their group exhibitions. In 2015 she received the ‘Mary Dougdale Portrait Award Trophy’ along with the overall ‘Windsor and Newton Award’ for work of distinction, both presented by our province’s favourite artist, Neill Shawcross. In previous years with the USWA she has won the ‘Yard Gallery Award’ as well as the portraiture award. Lynne has exhibited works in Parliament Buildings, Stormont, the Ulster Hall, the Waterfront Hall and this year her work has travelled to join a private collection in New York. An avid traveller, Lynne’s work is inspired by the colours and cultures from her explorations around the world.

Her recent fish series can be viewed at the BLACK CANVAS Gallery in Holywood, County Down.
